Ecuador jungle tours Suggested itinerary for a 5 days/ 4 nights trip (4 days' tour is also available; itinerary and order of visits subject to change): 1. - Quito - Lago Agrio - El Puente: Flight or bus journey to Lago Agrio. Drive from Lago Agrio to "El Puente". Canoe trip down on Cuyabeno River to our camp place. Exciting night walk. 2. - Cuyabeno river: After breakfast, trek into the primary rain forest learning about the medicinal plants and fauna. After lunch, journey downstream to relax and enjoy the surrounding nature on tubes (water tubing). |

| 3. - Cuyabeno river: After breakfast, we paddle by traditional dug-out canoe on the Caiman-cocha (alligators' lake) where we will enjoy the nature uniqueness; lunch, and hike in the primary forest including lessons in the use of plants for survival. Before we go back to our camp, we’ll have a relaxing time to swim and enjoy the sunset on the magnificent Laguna Grande. |

4. - Cuyabeno river: In the morning, walk to the Tarapuy Siona Community; our naturalist guide will explain about the culture and traditions of the native people (optional visit to the shaman, $2 extra, p.p.). Piranha fishing in the afternoon. Return to our camp. Night canoe trip in search of caimans (alligators). 5. - El Puente - Lago Agrio - Quito: Early morning bird watching. After breakfast, journey up Cuyabeno river to "El Puente". Drive back to Lago Agrio. Flight or bus journey back to Quito. |

Pricing:
The 5 days tour costs $240USD
per person, and the 4 days tour
costs $200USD per person.
Note: We require a minimum of 4 people to open this trip
-to cover the tour’s operational costs; otherwise, we’ll find
the closest departure available so that you can join that group.
These
prices includes: The lodging (double basins), meals in the
lodge, English speaking guiding assistance, and tours in the zone.
You can get there by bus or by plane. If you choose to go
by plane, we can book and issue your one-way or roundtrip
Quito/Lago Agrio/Quito tickets (currently at $135.16USD
per person, roundtrip, obviously additional to the tour’s
price; flights operates everyday EXCEPT, Sundays and takes 35 minutes,
approx.)
Personal expenses, additional drinks and a Community Reserve entrance fee (currently $20USD per person) are NOT included in the tour's price.
Important notice: Certificate of vaccination against the yellow fever is required for all the tourists travelling to and returning from Lago Agrio.
